Approximately 140 people from 6 countries attended "The First International Biodynamic Wine Forum" held at La
Trobe at Beechworth, Victoria, Australia from the 19-21st November, 2004.
Hailed as a great sucess by attendees, industry and media, the three day Forum:
- brought together leading vignerons from Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the USA.
- provided a unique opportunity to learn about Biodynamic innovation and its importance to wine from world class producers
that are actually doing it;
- Included the largest Biodynamic Wine Tasting ever to occur in Australia. Giving participants a rare chance to taste
and experience the Biodynamic difference first hand with over 60 of the world's best Biodynamic wines, including greats
DRC, Leflaive, and Leroy; and
- Laid the foundations for implementing world best practice Biodynamic production as an economic and environmentally sound
method of achieving international excellence in wine.
