Information for planting dates and activities is gathered from the 2008 Antipodean
Astro Calendar by Brian Keats. If you don’t already have a calendar and would like one, they are available from the office.
Optimal times for application of the biodynamic soil sprays are the seasons of Autumn and Spring.
These soil sprays are applied late in the afternoon as the dew begins to fall, and are best used when there is moisture present in the soil (e.g. after rain). The atmospheric sprays are applied in the early morning.

Note: Questions are often asked about which sign is the correct one to use when planting out. As a general rule, you plant out in the sign that represents the part of the plant you wish to harvest. For example, carrots and potatoes are planted in root signs, lettuce and cabbages in leaf signs, tomatoes and fruiting crops in fruit signs and flowering crops including such things as broccoli in flower signs.
