Organic Biodynamic Agriculture ~ A Growing Awareness
Taruna is proud to offer the Certificate in Applied Organics and Biodynamics, an exciting and essential programme for anyone wishing to learn about and apply organic and biodynamic methods to their work on the land. It is NZQA-approved (student loans OK) and will bring profound changes to the way you farm and garden.
This programme is for people who need a training that fits in with their busy lives. Spread over 27 weeks, it is based on three intensive 8-day seminars, supported by home-based study specifically designed for application to your own areas of interest or property management. This programme is ideal for anyone seeking organic or biodynamic certification.
Based at the beautiful Hohepa farm in Hawkes Bay, one of NZ’s longest-standing Biodynamic farms, this programme is offered with the approval of BioGro NZ, OrganicFarmNZ, and the Biodynamic Farming and Gardening Association (NZ)
For overseas students, a placement or internship, for the duration of the programme, may be arranged by negotiation on a New Zealand organic or biodynamic farm.
